Our single pot still whiskey is produced at Boann’s state-of-the-art €20 million facility in Ireland. The specially designed copper pot stills to ensure a superior spirit of distinct character. Once distilled, the new make spirit is transferred to carefully selected casks for maturation.
All casks are first fill. this means it is the first time the cask will be used to make rich Irish Whiskey so the best possible flavour profile will be achieved. As an Investor, you are welcome to visit the distillery at any time to witness all aspects of production and sample the whiskey produced on site
we arrange insurance and storage in a government bonded warehouse for a period of three years as the whiskey matures. The cask ownership is Immediately transferred to our investors or their nominated beneficiaries and certificates of ownership from the bonded warehouse will be issued at time or purchase. Our whiskey cask experts will be on hand at every stage ot the process to advise and manage your investment as it matures.
The new make spirit will be laid down to mature for five years in premium barrels. After a period of three years, the spirit officially becomes classified as Irish whiskey and can be bottled and sold as such, however we recommend a minimum maturation perIod of five years to produce the optimum flavour profile for your whiskey.
We also offer a range of ‘finishing casks’ which can add further complexity and interest, examples include port, rum, sherry and Madeira.
If you wish to leave your whiskey to mature further than five years and increase Its value even further, maturation duration extensions are possible with warehouse owner upon request..
At the end of the five years maturation. you can choose whether to continue your whiskey’s maturation or remove it from the bonded warehouse.
Options include selling the mature whiskey stock to new and existing brand owners who require ongoing mature stocks to meet their demand
You may also choose to bottle your whiskey to enjoy privately or sell as a branded product.
With our contacts and connections with international spirits, we are on hand to help and advise whichever option you choose
